The fees shall be used by Captain Sandy’s Charities to increase public awareness of employment opportunities in the maritime industry; to fund maritime workforce instruction and training; to promote professional development and job placement in all sectors of employment; and to suppor tthe advancement of education of trainees in the maritime industry, both at sea and on land.
Captain Sandy’s Charities paves the way for maritime careers while championing environmental education. The organization is dedicated to providing impactful programs that deliver direct services and create meaningful opportunities.
